“Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image.  He created them male and female as the crowning work of his creation.”

We are not accidents of evolution, just a little more developed than all the other animals.  The missing link is missing because there never was one.  God made the animals and then he made man.  He gave man his own image, his nature.  we are the only self-concious creatures, capable of ignoring instinct and acting altruistically when it makes no sense.

We are created male and female.  The gift of gender is not a “socially-constructed form of oppression of one over another.”  Modern movements to deny the choice of God in creating two sexes has created “gender chaos.”  God’s plan is for peace and cooperation, for procreation and as a way to remain close.

And we have a will, and the ability to sin. (It’s not a sin for a cayote to kill a chicken, or a hawk to kill a mouse – it’s in their nature.)  But the ability to choose introduced sin into our bloodlines, our natures, and it is our nature to sin

Deming, the quality improvement expert, says that it is impossible to create a perfect result with an imperfect system.  It is the nature of man to sin, and that sin “system” means that we will always be hampered by our tendency to sin.

Fortunately, by the wisdom and grace of the triune God, we can become aware of our sin – and avoid sinning.

But it takes the work of the one perfect man – Jesus – to get us past our sin and fully restore our fellowship with God.

NOTE:  God’s message of salvation is for every man and woman, from every tribe, race, language and people group.  In God’s eyes, there is no Jew or Gentile, male or female, Hebrew or Greek.
